About the event

Death In Disguise: The Chelsea Murders by Gary Powell  Friday 16th May - Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start at Sheringham Community Centre, Holway Road NR26 8NP. Sheringham author Gary Powell shares the known details of a chilling Victorian murder featured in his True Crime book, ‘Death in Disguise’. In 1870 Chelsea, violent crime was rare, so the double murder of an elderly clergyman and his devoted housekeeper deeply unsettled the community. Drawing on his experience as a detective, Gary presents the evidence with a logical approach. With no direct evidence placing the suspect at the crime scenes, no weapon found, and no motive confirmed, would you have condemned this man based on the available evidence?

Limited tickets are £5 each, available from Gary at 07738 426017 or The Kitchen - 17 Station Road, Sheringham. Signed copies of ‘Death In Disguise’ can be purchased, with 10% of profits…
