A first solo exhibition by artist Jacqueline Smerdon.
Local Norfolk artist, Jacqueline Smerdon is bringing her first solo exhibition to Makers Gallery Holt from 1-6 October 2026.
My Expression. Your Eye. This exhibition invites visitors to step into a world of colour, exploring a collection of paintings created in different artistic styles and approaches.
Rather than presenting one single way of seeing, Jackie invites visitors to discover the works for themselves and asks a simple question.
Which one speaks to you?
A self-taught artist, Jackie has developed her practice through exploration, experimentation, and a passion for painting. Her work embraces colour, atmosphere, and mood. These different approaches reflect her belief that art is ultimately personal – what connects with one person may speak very differently to another.
