About the event

Friends of Norfolk Dialect (FOND) was founded in 1999, dedicated to conserving and recording Norfolk’s priceless linguistic and cultural heritage, thus keeping Broad Norfolk alive.


Diana, Chairman of FOND, will give a light-hearted talk about the dialect and examples of words, then she will perform some poetry/ squit.  The audience will also be encouraged to participate.


This event is organised by the Friends of North Walsham Library to raise funds. 


Tickets are £3 per person (includes refreshments and biscuits)
