Local boys Will Wilson and Maff Sharp have been friends for more than 25 years and have been involved in many a caper together throughout. Music in it's various forms has always been part of the deal and they take great pleasure in curating the weekly jukebox choices for their show. Poppyland Radio started as an idea from Will's kitchen table and has now grown to the Community radio station we now all have the pleasure to be a part of.
You won't hear wall-to-wall ads on Poppyland Radio as that's not what listeners tune in for, and we aren't convinced they work very well anyway. Instead, our shows are sponsored by local businesses who value the communities we are all part of. That's why you'll only hear from one brand on a sponsored show.
