We did it! The first Treasure Hunt has gone down a storm...

Just a few hours ago, the Poppyland Radio Treasure Hunt Team reconvened at The Pod to celebrate the successful completion of the first edition of Treasure Hunt today.

Having cracked the clues with the invaluable help of hundreds of messages, voice notes and WhatsApp's from listeners, the bounty was eventually tracked down to Kerry's in North Walsham, via Northrepps, Sheringham RNLI, The Bure Valley Railway at Aylsham and The Three Horseshoes in Briston.

Not quite a faultless performance, but the new show attracted record audience figures and is already a hit with listeners. We've learned a lot from today, and listeners have volunteered invaluable advice too, but the verdict has been unanimously positive and congratulatory.

From all the presenters and back room crew at Poppyland Radio, we thank you for your absolutely incredible input, support and encouragement, and can't wait to get back in the car for the next episode.

Well done, excellent show. Today felt like a proper Sunday morning again.

Treasure Hunt will air on the first Sunday of the month for now, maybe more regularly in the future. If you would like to nominate a worthy 'Local Treasure' to receive next shows treasure, just let us now. Tell us what makes them so special and deserving, and leave the rest to us.

It was a brilliant success! And well done the local venues who joined in.

The questions were excellently drafted, the team in the studio and in the car were first class, relaxed, fun, professional and very engaging.

This show's a hit and its popularity will just keep on growing and with it the reputation and goodwill towards Poppyland Radio...this was community radio at its best!
