Chris Dunn
Born in the UK in 1960, I work as a Train Driver by profession. My deep passion for Reggae Music was ignited in the early 70s when I first heard iconic artists like The Pioneers, Bob & Marcia, Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker, and Dave & Ansel Collins dominating the UK charts.
While working on a factory production line during that time, I was immersed in a daily playlist that included Reggae, Soca, and Calypso music through the works' tannoy system.
This musical backdrop led to a partnership with my Jamaican friend, Michael Alphonso Smith, in the mobile disco business, where I learned the art of DJing from a master.
Later on, I launched my own mobile disco and secured a residency at a local working men's club in Penge, South London, where I had the pleasure of keeping the crowd dancing during and after live band performances.
